I am a 32 years old swiss man, currently based in The Netherlands. Creating, publishing and promoting online content have been my main activities over the last 10 years. It all started back in 2004 when a few friends and I decided to launch Crewstacez.com, a Freeskiing blog to document our passion. Fast forward a few years, it had grown into one of the most visited website on the scene, with a recognisable identity based on great action and hilarious editing. Between 2009 and 2011, I founded and directed the Survival of the Fittest, a Freeski and Snowboard contest gathering 30 world class athletes for an epic big air battle. After that, I decided to challenge myself by stepping out of my comfort zone to develop my digital skills in a completely different industry. I worked at Blancpain, the world’s oldest watchmaking brand, between 2011 and 2015, in charge of Social Media and worldwide Digital Marketing activities.
On the academic side, I graduated in 2009 from the University of Lausanne, with a Bachelor degree in Geosciences & Environnement, which was basically a translation of my passion for the outdoors. In January 2015, I decided to head back to studies. I undertook a Master degree in New Media & Digital Culture at the University of Utrecht (NL). Besides, I conducted a Content Management research Internship at The Next Web, Amsterdam.
Since September 2016, I joined The Ocean Cleanup as a full time Video & Content Manager. The Ocean Cleanup is an organisation that develops advanced technologies to rid the world’s oceans of plastic.
In this section you'll find a list of skills I've been developing during my career so far. I learned most of them by myself, googling for answers, watching tutorials or asking around.
These progress bars show how experimented I consider myself in each of these fields.
